A widespread fish kill on Rock Creek and the Milk River north of Hinsdale is being investigated by Fish, Wildlife & Parks fisheries biologists. A landowner reported the incident on July 13. Upon investigation, biologists observed dead fish downstream of the confluence of the Milk River and Rock Creek. The Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Hunter Education in-person course date has been set for Monday, Aug. 8, in Glasgow. All hunter education classes are free of charge. In-person, instructor-led hunter education classroom courses are available to anyone age 10 and older. Students must be registered prior to attending a class.
