According to the Billings Gazette, the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes are in talks regarding a possible hydrogen fuel project in the area. Organizers hope the project can be folded into a fourstate partnership involving Montana. If realized, the Fort Peck Reservation would play host to a hydrogen plant producing fuel for the trucking industry, as well as a carbon sequestration site

The National Weather Service is reporting that the potential for flooding has increased significantly in the last two weeks.
