The motion by Abrianne Lillian Deserly to have her second degree murder case be dismissed has been denied by Chief District Judge Brian Morris of the U.S. District Court. The indictment alleges that on Feb. 26, 2025, near Wolf Point, the defendant unlawfully and with malice aforethought, that is recklessly with extreme disregard for human life, killed John Doe and aided and abetted the same.

There was no school in Wolf Point and Frontier on Tuesday, March 17, due to a threat of violence made on social media. Wolf Point Superintendent of Schools Dr. David Perkins said law enforcement contacted him about the threat at about 5 a.m. on Tuesday. At that point, the decision was made to see if law enforcement could look at leads and positively determine the individual who made the threat.
