Clean Sweep Days Continue


The annual Wolf Point Clean Sweep Days continue in the community this week. The Wolf Point landfill will accept clean-sweep trash at no charge this week. The landfill will also be open on Sunday, May 21, from noon to 5 p.m. Bring your landfill card if you have one. Appliances requiring Freon removal will be charged a removal fee. Contractor/construction waste will be charged regular rates.

Governor Joins Students To Designate Huckleberry As Montana’s State Fruit


After fourth-grade students at Vaughn Elementary School pitched him on the need for bill, Governor Greg Gianforte has signed House Bill 880 into law to designate the huckleberry as the official fruit of Montana. “Whether you like them in jam, pancakes, or picked fresh off the bush, huckleberries are a Montana staple,” Gianforte said. “Thanks to the hard work of bright young Montanans
