The Roosevelt County commissioners have scheduled a public hearing regarding public input on accepting roads to become public roads. Commissioners have set the meeting for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 26, at the school administrative office in Brockton. Commissioners note that this will be the first meeting on the reservation regarding the county-wide effort to recognize roads as public roads.

Continuing his aggressive push to fully reopen the northern border and resume full trade and commerce with Canada, U.S. Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., last week led a bipartisan letter to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) pressing the agency to return the hours of operations at northern ports of entry to pre-pandemic hours or, at minimum, match the operating hours of Canadian ports.
