New prehistoric residents arrived at the Fort Peck Interpretive Center on June 14 with a lot of help. Instead of having to swim almost 400 miles upstream, five pallid sturgeons caught a lift from Fort Peck Fish Hatchery manager Wade Geraets after living the first two years of their lives at the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery in North Dakota.
