Enrollment data released earlier this week from the Office of Public Instruction shows there’s been an increase in students seeking private or homeschooled instruction and a decrease in public school enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year. Public K-12 students decreased by 1,988 students, or 1.3 percent, this year and the nonpublic enrollee population grew by 403 students or 2.4 percent.

The Wolf Point track team accounted for a solid effort during the Gene Nelson Memorial Invitational on Friday, May 3. Wolf Point’s boys tallied 46.5 points for sixth place in the team standings. The top three squads were Glasgow with 91.5 points, Plentywood with 71 and Lustre Christian with 59 points. The Lady Wolves scored 14 points for ninth place. Scobey topped the field with 139 points.
