Tornado warnings were issued at 6:47 p.m. on Friday, July 12, for northeast Montana including Lustre, Larslan, Opheim, Richland and points east. Several of our Lustre Grade School children live up in those areas. The parade entry from the Spotted Bull Recovery Resource Center received grand overall honors during the Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede on Friday, July 12, and Saturday, July 13. Opportunity Bank took first place for best commercial float. High Prairie Veterinary Services placed second and Wolf Point Insurance earned third place. Fort Peck Community College won in the best cultural heritage

The Wadopana powwow grounds was the place to be for families on Thursday, July 11, thanks to activities organized by the Wolf Point Community Organization.
