The Roosevelt County Commissioners held their regular meeting Tuesday, May 21. Patrick Wilkinson’s resignation from the Compensation Board was noted. A new member of that body is needed. Tracie Smith was rehired for seasonal help with the Roosevelt County Extension Office and Randy and Heather Pautsch were hired as mosquito sprayers. Myklynn Lewis was approved for a salary increase at 911 dispatch.

On Friday, May 10, Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen said counties across the state mailed absentee ballots to registered absentee voters. Ballot packets were mailed to more than 450,000 registered absentee voters.

The Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede will celebrate its 101st year July 10, 11, 12 and 13 in Wolf Point hosted by the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Medium Rodeo of the Year 2020, along with the many dedicated Stadium committee and community volunteers.
The weekend festivities will start Wednesday evening July 10th with a pitchfork fondue from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Big Sky Corral, followed by the Wild
