A Brockton man accused of assaulting a man and sexually assaulting a minor on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation admitted to charges on Thursday, Jan. 29, U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme said.

Charissa Josette Boast was sentenced for the charge of possession of dangerous drugs.
Roosevelt County Attorney Thomas Bleicher recommended that Boast serve five years with the Montana Department of Corrections with no time suspended.
Defense attorney Sally Kay Hickok argued that Boast goes to counseling

Froid’s Roberto Orozco-Ramirez remains in custody in Great Falls at press time Feb. 2 on charges of illegal reentry into the country and threatening a federal officer. An initial hearing was held Jan. 28 and another hearing is set for Feb. 5 to determine whether there is enough evidence for the case to proceed. A detention hearing is set for Feb. 9.
Area residents have been actively supporting
Froid’s Roberto Orozco-Ramirez remains in custody in Great Falls at press time Feb. 2 on charges of illegal reentry into the country and threatening a federal officer.
