The Fort Peck Tribal Police and U.S. Marshals have arrested Courtney Cantrell of Poplar on a Fort Peck Tribes’ extradition warrant. Cantrell, 35, has a second degree murder warrant out of New Orleans, La. Several petition to revoke cases were conducted in district court in front of District Judge David Cybulski on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Trevor Levi Crain changed his plea and admitted to not reporting an instance of failure to comply with the law. Based on a joint recommendation, Cybulski unsuspended Crain’s 10-year sentence with the Department of Corrections for Crain to receive treatment.

Thousands of Montana taxpayers have already successfully claimed and received property tax relief. The Montana Department of Revenue has approved over 176,000 claims. The Montana Property Tax Rebate provides qualifying Montanans up to $675 of property tax relief on a primary residence in 2024.
