Pool Remains Busy Place With Lessons
The Wolf Point swimming pool has been a busy place this summer, and new pool manager Tiffani Darby has liked all of the activity.
“I’ve enjoyed teaching swim lessons and being around all the kids every day,” Darby said.

On Eagles’ Wings Uses Basketball To Deliver Hope
The On Eagles’ Wings youth ministry spent two days last week in Wolf Point where the group organized basketball activities, provided free meals and awarded raffle prizes. These items, however, weren’t the most important elements that the group of 38 young adults offered.
“We talk about hope,” Nick Liew, coordinator of On Eagles’ Wings, said during Tuesday night’s event.

Commissioners Appoint Evans As Interim Clerk
Roosevelt County’s deputy clerk of court Laurie Evans has been appointed by the county commissioners to be interim clerk of court/ county superintendent of schools.
The decision was needed after Jeri Toavs resigned from the positions July 8. Commissioner Gordon Oelkers officially announced Toavs’ resignation during the meeting on Tuesday, July 16.

Local Display Encourages Registration For Voters
Recent Wolf Point High School graduate Lennoxx Lilley is one area resident that is looking forward to voting in this year’s general election.
Lilley, who just turned 18 last week, wasn’t able to vote in this year’s primary election, so he’s even more anxious about casting a vote this November.
