Two local volunteer organizations have recently been busy making Wolf Point a better place. Wolf Point Lions Club members were active on Wednesday, June 12, improving the horseshoe pits at bridge park. In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson issued a presidential proclamation that designated June 14 as Flag Day. On Aug. 3, 1949, National Flag Day was officially established by an Act of Congress.
