Roosevelt County Ranks Fifth In State For Unemployment

Roosevelt County is the fifth ranked county as far as highest unemployment in the state, according to figures recently released by the Montana Department of Labor & Industry. County Reports 12 Active COVID Cases

Roosevelt County has 12 active COVID cases as of Monday, Aug. 16. Clinics are planned for Aug. 19 in Wolf Point from 3-6 p.m. and Aug. 26 in Culbertson from 3-6 p.m.. Masks are recommended for individuals who have not received a COVID-19 vaccine. Wolf Point Looks To Improve ACT Scores

According to the ACT profile report, Wolf Point is still aiming to improve its standings. The test was taken by last year’s high school juniors. The average composite score for Wolf Point was 16.0 for the 2020-2021 school year compared to the state average of 19.1. Wolf Point’s score was 15.1 for English compared to the state average of 17.8. Wolf Point’s score was 15.6 in mathematics
