Northeast Montana Veterans Memorial Founders Mark 10 Years
The 10-year anniversary of the construction of the Northeast Montana Veterans Memorial Park was marked over the holiday weekend in Fort Peck.
A crowd of veterans’ families, memorial organizers and well wishers enjoyed a sunny Saturday morning at the south end of the intersection that serves as the memorial site and roundabout.

Rensvold Serving As Grand Marshal
When Ted Rensvold was called and notified that he was selected as grand marshal for this summer’s Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede, he delivered a very modest answer.
“No” was his reply. “There are a lot more people that deserve that.”
Rensvold, however, was overruled as he was told that the Stampede committee was in total agreement about Rensvold being grand marshal.

Bullfighter Making First Trip To Stampede
Bullfighter Josiah Johns is new to the Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede and is looking forward to the experience of participating in the famous rodeo.
The 20-year-old Johns started bullfighting was he was only 13 years old. He explained that he was encouraged by a very good friend of his grandfather’s rodeo company.
