Two Poplar youths have initially been charged with attempted murder after an attack that occurred on Poplar’s east side on Monday, March 30. According to the Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice, they received a report at about 8 p.m. on Monday regarding an 11-yearold boy who suffered deep lacerations to his right knee. He was transported to the emergency room and then flown to Billings.

The second degree murder trials for Adrianne Lillian Deserly, Calvin Florin Lester Jr., and Dillon Demery Wetsit have been rescheduled for June 9 in Great Falls. The jury trial was scheduled for April 14, but the government made a motion to continue the trial. The motion was unopposed. Attorneys for the government said that a continuance is necessary as the parties are continuing to review
