Oelkers Said Amtrak Should Update Slowly

After Amtrak ocials announced in February a plan for train improvements, some government agencies are requesting Congress to make the improvements at a faster pace. Under Amtrak’s plans, all long distance routes will transition to a universal single- level fleet. Froid Council Members Discuss Fiber Project, Dogs

The Froid Town Council held its regular meeting April 13. Council member Gregg Labatte was absent. Visitors were recognized. The office of the justice of the peace in Culbertson has provided Froid with $1,675 in fines and fees owed the town. A glitch in the court’s computer system was discovered. The Wolf Point City Council held their regular meeting April 20. Treasurer’s cash reports were approved, as were claims and payroll. Greg Lukasik provided an update on wastewater system improvements.
