Average Gas Prices Unchanged In State

Average gasoline prices in Montana are unchanged in the last week, averaging $2.75/g on Monday, Jan. 12, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 615 stations in Montana. Prices in Montana are 11.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 2.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 2.3 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.475 per gallon.

August Roosevelt County 4-H honored Oil Field Waste Logistics, Bob Jasper and C& B Operations during the county fair. Angela Miller resigned as the Roosevelt County Fair manager. Officials said that she submitted her resignation on Aug. 8, the last day of the fair, and finished working until the end of that day’s activities. The Culbertson Cowgirls’ hard-working attitude paid off in the end as Culbertson came back for a 41-38 home win over MonDak on Friday, Jan. 9. The Brockton Warriors kept winning with home victories over Culbertson on Saturday, Jan. 10. In the boys’ contest, the Warriors won by a 73-35 final.
