Vacation Bible School


was held June 8-10 at Bainville Faith Fellowship Church. The theme for this year’s event was “Camp Good News! Jesus is our path to peace!” Bible lessons for the week included “The Wise and Foolish Builder,” “Jesus Feeds the 5,000” and “Jesus Calms the Storm.” Participants learned new songs, played games, created crafts and enjoyed a picnic lunch each day. Despite cool and cloudy weather, area residents were able to celebrate during Poplar’s annual Wild West Days on Thursday through Sunday. Funding for two additional staff members will help the Red Bird Woman Center serve the Fort Peck Reservation even better in the future.
