Indians Lose At Plentywood

Poplar’s football team played tough early, but the Indians lost at Plentywood by a 71-8 final on Friday, Oct. 16.

After Plentywood gained an 8-0 lead, Poplar struck right back on a 26yard touchdown pass by Chasen Pribbernow. The junior quarterback ran in the two-point conversion for an 8-8 deadlock.

Plentywood held a 24-8 lead at the end of the end of the first quarter and a 50-8 half-time advantage.

The Wildcats added two touchdowns in the third quarter to increase the margin to 63-8.

The Indians will finish their season in Ekalaka on Friday, Oct. 23.
