Gorder Finishes First At Frazer Meet Class C Runners Compete
Wolf Point’s freshman Cali Gorder ran to firstplace honors during the 19-team Frazer Invitational cross country meet held on Thursday, Sept. 24.
Gorder finished with a time of 20:59.5.
Younger sister Caydee Gorder, an eighth-grader, earned second place by running the tough course in 21:46.3.
Wolf Point’s sophomore Layla Headdress also turned in a strong showing by taking sixth with a time of 22:56.9.
Shoni Blount placed 58th at 34:17.0.
The Lady Wolves finished third in the team standings with 79 points.
In the boys’ division, the Wolves were fourth with 79 points.
Kolter Berglee took 13th place at 18:45.6 to lead the Wolves. Keydon Beston finished in 15th place at 18:54.5.
Wolf Point senior Reilly Rees placed 27th with a time of 20:28.7. Andrew Williamson was 33rd at 21:13.8. Kayeiko Villaluz took 35th at 21:53.5.
Ezekiel Payne finished 51st at 25:34.1. Xaden Goodtrack took 55th at 26:57.0. Damien Finley placed 56th at 27:57.0. Kevin Brook took 58th at 31:10.0. Dane Follet was 63rd at 36:31.9.

Talented cross country athletes from throughout the area competed at the Frazer Invitational meet held on Thursday, Sept. 24. The meet featured 19 teams and 88 runners in the high school boys’ division.
The top three teams in the boys’ division were Harlem with 25 points, Poplar with 55 and Glasgow with 61 points.
Poplar topped the girls’ standings with 45 points followed by Harlem with 64 and Wolf Point with 79 points.
Individual champions were Wolf Point’s Cali Gorder with a time of 20:59.5 and Harlem’s Ethan Walker with a time of 15:41.1.
Scobey
The Scobey Spartans put together a strong effort to place fifth in both the boys’ and girls’ team standings.
Leading Scobey’s boys were Carter Lekvold who placed 31st with a time of 20:51.3.
Delbert Sones finished 39th at 22:22.4 and Bryce Handran was 40th at 22:27.2. Health Cahill placed 42nd at 22:59.8.
Jack Williams ran the course in 23:12.2 for 44th place. Thor Lund took 46th at 23:19.2. Easton Fladager was 52nd at 26:03.1. Lucas Lekvold placed 59th at 32:44.5.
In the girls’ division, Scobey’s Hailey Johnson earned eighth place with a time of 24:08.7.
Merlina Kramer placed 14th at 25:50.1 and Esmeralda Sones was 18th at 26:07.2.
Hazel Sones took 36th at 28:00.0. Evee Berryhill was 41st at 28:43.2. Shelby Cole placed 42nd at 29:14.6. Ashtynn Fladager placed 51st at 31:53.6.
Frazer
The highlight for the Bearcubs at their home meet was senior Gabe Beston placing 21st with a time of 19:44.5.
Bryce Fourstar had a time of 21:57.8 for 36th place. Ronald Round Race was 60th at 32:47.3.
In the girls’ division, Elli Mail finished in 47th place at 30:55.9.
Anevay Daniels placed 52nd at 32:14.0 and Bethany Hotomanie was 53rd at 32:41.8. Landyn Rattline Thunder took 56th at 33:29.8.
Brockton
Brockton’s Daniel Segubiense ran the course in 20:24.8 to earn 25th place at the meet.
Preston Beston took 29th at 20:32.2 and Tefton Bear finished 30th at 20:35.8.
In the girls’ division, Madalyn Fish earned 27th place with a time of 27:10.4.
BraeLynn DeMarrias finished 40th at 28:43.1.
Reese Decoteau was 54th at 32:57.1, Azalea Clampitt placed 61st at 38:13.5 and Dacia Youpee took 62nd at 38:41.1.
