Wolves Fare Well At Tennis Tournament

The Wolf Point Wolves competed at the seeding tennis tournament held in Baker during the weekend.

“The girls are looking good going into divisionals next week,” Wolf Point Coach Dan Horsmon said. “We had success all around.”

The divisional tournament is a two-day event with almost 30 matches to play between singles and doubles.

“The goal is to win divisionals and qualify as many athletes as possible for state,” Horsmon said.

During action in Baker, the doubles team of Riley Schwarzrock and McKenzie Rodenberg posted a 3-0 record. The team of Lauren Rodenberg and McKinlee Paulson had a record of 1-1.

Afton Hanks earned two victories during singles play. Also with wins were Tanna Guldborg, Jeina Reum and Kai Villaluz.
