Brockton Track Athletes Place At District Meet

Members of Brockton’s track team placed at the District 2C track meet held in Lambert on Tuesday, May 12.

BraeLynn DeMarrias finished second in the 3200-meter run with a time of 15:35.50. Taylor Cummins placed third with a time of 18:16.87.

DeMarrias, a sophomore, placed fourth in the 800 at 3:19.26 and fourth in the 1600 at 6:58.03.

Brockton’s girls’ 400-meter relay team featuring DeMarrias, Olivia Erickson, Reese Decoteau and Cummins finished fourth with a time of 1:03.66.

In the boys’ division, Daniel Segubiense finished fourth in the 3200 at 12:46.47 and fifth in the 1600 at 5:35.12.

The Eastern C divisional track meet is scheduled for Thursday, May 21.
