Golfers Play In Shootout
Wolf Point’s and Poplar’s golfers played at the Northern B shootout at the Wolf Point Airport Golf Course on Friday, May 8.
In the girls’ division, Maia Kent shot a 107 to earn seventh place.
Cole Holen led Wolf Point’s boys with a 92 for 16th place.
Other scores for the Wolves were Chaz Kegley with a 97 for 27th, Jesse Reed with a 104 for 38th and Conway Turcotte with a 105 for 40th place.
Poplar’s Lukas Young shot an 85 for 11th place.
Royal Crawford tied for 30th with a 98. Rollen Spotted Bull took 45th with a 113 and Greyson Young was 47th at 127.
In the girls’ division, Frankie Crawford earned eighth place by shooting a 108.
Masina Youpee tied for 17th with a 113.
Malta’s Regan Stuart was the boys’ medalist with a 76. Glasgow’s Hank Hopstad placed second at 78 and Kael Meyer took third with a 79.
Glasgow’s Mia Peterson and Malta’s Kylie Bishop tied for medalist honors in the girls’ division with 92s.
