Lustre Scores In Glendive

Lustre’s boys’ track squad scored 27 points for 10th place at the extremely competitive Shriners’ Invitational conducted in Glendive on Friday, May 1.

Lustre’s girls placed 20th with six points.

Johnslee Pierre came away with two first-place honors at the meet. The senior finished first in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 15.31 seconds. He took first in the long jump with a mark of 239. Both were personal bests for Pierre.

Jaycee Hilkemann finished third in the 3200 with a time of 10:27.27 and sixth in the 1600 with a personal best time of 4:39.16.

Also with personal bests for Lustre’s boys were Cam Reddig in the 200 and javelin, KJ Brown in the 200 and Chris Traeholt in the 800.

In the girls’ division, sophomore Kencia Brown earned third in the javelin with a personal best of 114-6.

Others with personal bests for Lustre’s girls were Justice Byers in the 200 and 400 and Samantha Neufeld in the 400.

Having personal bests for Brockton were Daniel Segubiense in the 100, 200 and 1600, Tefton Bear in the 200 and 100, Ronnie Black Dog in the 100 and 200, John Jayvee Ramirez in the 100 and 400 and Olivia Erickson in the 200.

Personal bests for Frazer’s athletes were Preston Beston in the 200 and 1600, and Cassius Smoker in the 300-meter hurdles.
