Wolf Point Hosts Class B Teams For Golf Invitational

The Wolf Point Wolves hosted the 10-team Wolf Point Invitational at the Wolf Point Airport Golf Course on Saturday, April 18.

Leading Wolf Point’s boys was Jesse Reed with a round of 101 to tie for 28th place.

William Schwarzrock and Conway Turcotte each shot 113s to tie for 36th place.

Aaryn Hamilton placed 40th at 118.

Poplar’s Lukas Young tied for seventh place with an 85.

Rollen Spotted Bull placed 30th at 102. Landon Trottier was 31st at 103 and Royal Crawford took 32nd at 104. Greyson Young shot a 142 for 47th place.

In the girls’ division, Wolf Point’s Maia Kent placed seventh by shooting a 101.

Poplar’s Frankie Crawford tied for 13th place with a 109. Masina Youpee was 15th at 111. Bree Brown shot a 122 for 21st place.

Rowen Russell of Shelby was the girls’ medalist with a 91. Tying for second with 94s were Mia Peterson of Glasgow and Lily Hooker of Shelby.

Ryan Bell of Chinook was the boys’ medalist with a 78. Bentley Hofstad of Glasgow was second at 82 and Michael Love of Malta took third with an 83.

Malta won the boys’ title with a team score of 339 followed by Shelby at 345 and Conrad at 349.

The top three teams in the girls’ division were Shelby at 383, Malta at 431 and Glasgow at 448.
