Lions Open With Victory Over Terry

Lustre Christian opened the Eastern C divisional basketball tournament with a 65-44 victory over Terry on Wednesday, March 4.

After leading by a 15-9 margin at the end of the first quarter, the Lions ran off 21 points in the second period for a 36--18 advantage at intermission.

The Lions gained further control by scoring 18 points in the third quarter for a 5426 margin.

Leading Lustre’s attack were Joel Reddig with 23 and Johnslee Pierre with 16 points. Cam Reddig added nine points.

Rounding out the scoring were Diek Olfert with six, Chris Traeholt with five, Prestyn Klatt with four and Hadden Olfert with two points.

Ethan Meidinger led Terry with 16 points.
