Bearcubs Drop Game Against Mavericks

Frazer’s boys’ basketball team fell to North Country, 68-43, in the first round of the District 3C tournament in Glasgow on Wednesday, Feb. 18.

The Mavericks gained a 36-10 lead in the first quarter and held a 57-17 half-time advantage.

Gabe Beston led the Bearcubs with 16 points.

Also scoring for Frazer were Zayden Hentges with nine, Ronald Round Face with five points, Cassius Smoker with five, Bryce Fourstar with four and Preston Beston with four.

Leading North Country were Layton Erickson with 27, Chase Albus with 13, Sam Simonson with 10 and Jake Brown with 10 points.
