Red Hawks Lose To Thunder

Froid/Lake’s boys’ basketball team lost its final regular- season game against MonDak, 66-53, on Saturday, Feb. 13.

The Red Hawks gained a 13-10 at the end of the first quarter, but MonDak held a 32-23 half-time advantage.

Froid/Lake struck for 22 points in the third quarter to cut the margin to 46-45.

Top scorers for the Red Hawks were Carsen Kelm with 14, Eddie Orozco with 11 and Carsen Aasheim with 10 points.

Also scoring were Aaron Orozco with eight, Jake Nordlund with six, Rylan Young with two and Easton Marottek with two.

Dillan Wade scored 29 points for the Thunder. Max Lundby added 16 points.
