Lustre Scores Victory Over Circle

Lustre earned a 73-59 road victory over Circle in District 3C boys’ basketball action on Friday, Jan. 16.

The Lions trailed by a 17-16 margin at the end of the first quarter, but Lustre struck for 15 points in the second period for a 31-24 advantage.

Lustre added 19 points in the third quarter to increase the margin to 50-36.

Top scorers for the Lions were Cam Reddig with 20, Joel Reddig with 15 and Johnslee Pierre with 15 points.

Rounding out the scoring were Prestyn Klatt with eight, Diek Olfert with eight, Hadden Olfert with five and Chris Traeholt with three.

Scoring leaders for Circle were Duke Williamson with 15, Owen Beery with 14, Kash Ereaux with 13 and Xavier Nasner with 12 points.
