Stockgrowers Hold Annual Convention, Trade Show

The Montana Stockgrowers Association concluded its 140th annual Convention and Trade Show on Friday, Dec. 6, in Billings. On the final day, attendees participated in the Beef Breakfast, Beef Production and Marketing Committee Meeting, General Session II, Presidents Lunch, Stockgrowers Colleges, and policy meetings. Lustre Boys Post Victory In Bainville

The Bainville Bulldogs and Lustre Lions split basketball games during non-conference action in Bainville on Saturday, Feb. 1. In the girls’ game, Bainville came away with a 63-39 victory. After leading 11-9 at the end of the first quarter, the Bulldogs struck for 22 points in the second period for a 3317 lead. Bainville outscored the Lions by a 14-10 margin in the third quarter.

The Culbertson Cowboys cruised to a 76-26 home victory over Froid/Lake on Friday, Jan. 31. Froid/Lake opened the game with a three-pointer by Rylan Young, but the Cowboys ran off the next 17 points.
