Natalie Heckmun, 8, led a talk on Monarch butterflies for a group of area children at the Culbertson Public Library June 19. Heckmun warned that milkweed is often treated with pesticides, leading to the destruction of Monarch habitat. The Summer Reading Program meets on Thursdays. Red Bottom Celebration Takes Place In Frazer


The 122nd Red Bottom Celebration was held in Frazer June 19-22. Attendees were treated to a mix of rain and sunshine, as well as a wide array of dance competitions and specials. Thursday was camping day, featuring a community feed and youth dance. Grand entries were held on Friday and Sunday and twice daily on Saturday.
