Bainville Suffers Loss Against Fusion

The Bainville Bulldogs struggled against Richey/ Lambert’s defense in the second half and fell, 54-26, in sixman football action on Friday, Oct. 3. The Bulldogs enjoyed a good start as runs by Rowan Wilson and a pass play to Keagan Vaira put them in scoring position early in the first quarter. Wilson connected with Kaiden Holmes for a six-yard touchdown pass with 7:06 left in the period.

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks reminds landowners, watershed groups and others that this winter’s deadline to apply for Future Fisheries Improvement Program grants is Nov. 15. Approximately $400,000 is available for the winter grant cycle. The goal of FWP’s FFIP is to restore rivers, streams and lakes to improve Montana’s wild fish habitat. Entities can receive funding for qualifying

Sheridan Electric Conducts Annual Meeting

On Saturday, Oct. 4, Sheridan Electric conducted its 78th annual meeting of the membership, with great success. One topic of note is the unexpected change the coop must raise rates in early 2026. This is in response to the rate increase the power supplier has issued for their construction of new generation and other factors which have been described in the October Rural Montana magazine.
