The Wolf Point Lady Wolves are looking for more success than last season as they get ready for the girls’ basketball season.

The Wolves return starter Ma’Kenzie Jackson back this season. The sophomore earned All-Conference second team honors last year.

Other players with a good amount of varsity playing experience are senior Marley Moran, Mattie Azure and Addy Smith.

Maci Fourstar-Sibley, who was a standout in Frazer, transferred to Wolf Point and should help the Wolves’ attack.

“She is very much a huge, key addition,” Coach Cody Larson said.

Larson feels the team’s main strength is its quickness.

“We need to work on coming together every day,” Larson said.

He expects the Wolves to be battling near the top of District 2B.

League favorites include Malta and Fairview.
