The Wolf Point Yellowjacket Baseball program has announced its new officers for the upcoming season.
Cody Larson will serve as the board’s president while Jacob Boysun will perform vice president duties.
Jaki Harada has been elected secretary and Mandi Damon will be the program’s treasurer. Other board members are Leslie Larson and David Hopson.

Author Wayne Adams is trying to spread the word regarding the crisis of missing indigenous women in the United States.
Adams has recently released his book, The Odyssey of Amanda Iron Bear. Adams’ story takes place on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation and deals with a 17-year-old indigenous girl who is kidnapped by human traffickers.

One person is dead after local and county law enforcement responded to a threat at the Lewis and Clark County Courthouse in Helena Friday afternoon, according to authorities.
At around 1:30 p.m., Helena police officers and Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the county courthouse, 228 E. Broadway St., after numerous 911 calls reported that a woman was brandishing a handgun.

The Winter Escape gymnastics meet was held in Jamestown, N.D. on Feb. 15-16. Eastern Montana Gymnastics had 11 event championships in their age groups. In bronze, River Darby placed first on vault and floor out of all 51 gymnasts.
Maysen Sikveland was first on vault and balance beam for her age group in silver, while teammate Frankie Darby was first on balance beam and floor.
Gold gymnasts

District 2C players selected to the boys’ All-State team were Plentywood’s senior Chance Klein, Plentywood’s senior

Former Froid/Lake standout Sydney Dethman has been voted to the Frontier Conference’s All-Conference women’s basketball team.
The senior was also selected the Frontier Conference Newcomer of the Year.
She averaged 16.1 points and 5.7 rebounds this season. She ranked second in the conference for points per game, fourth in field goal percentage and ninth in free throw shooting percentage.
Former Froid/Lake standout Sydney Dethman has been voted to the Frontier Conference’s All-Conference women’s basketball team.
The senior was also selected the Frontier Conference Newcomer of the Year.
