Puppet shows, robotics displays, informative demonstrations and a wax museum were all part of a night of learning and fun as Frontier School held its Cafe on Thursday, March 13.
Tina Strauser, social studies teacher, explained that this was the fourth year for while a wax museum has been offered for about the last 10 years.

The public’s input is requested regarding the possibility of moving two grades in the Wolf Point School District.
Public meetings and surveys are planned on the topic of having sixth-grade student attend classes at the junior high school and thirdgrade students being moved from Southside Elementary School to Northside Elementary School.

Roosevelt County commissioners agreed to a contract with a hiring firm with the goal of finding a registered nurse for the Roosevelt County Health Department.
Ironside Human Resources charges an initial fee of $3,000 and then an additional fee of $7,000 if an employee is found.
“I feel we’ve pretty much exhausted our local search,” Commissioner Gordon Oelkers said.

Jesse Hank Baker III had his dispositional hearing in district court on Wednesday, March 12, after admitting to the violation of the conditions of his probation.
Baker was sentenced by District Judge Benjamin Fosland to eight years in the Montana State Prison with none of the time suspended. The hearing used video conferencing from the Yellowstone County Detention Center. In his sentencing memorandum,

Adams has recently released his book, The Odyssey of Amanda Iron Bear. Adams’ story takes place on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation and deals with a 17-year-old indigenous girl who is kidnapped by human traffickers.
