Wanda Fern Ackerman, 64, of Frazer died Feb. 10, 2025, at Billings Clinic in Billings. She was born June 10, 1960, in Poplar to Wilbert Ackerman Sr. and Isabelle Runs Through and was an enrolled member of the Fort Peck Tribes. She received her schooling at Frazer Public Schools in Frazer. Her longtime “honey” was Garrett Bigleggins III. She was a homemaker, always taking care of grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play basketball. She loved to do arts and crafts. She made excellent fry bread, was a fantastic cook and enjoyed picking rocks. She was always finding all sorts of good rocks. She is survived by her children, Apollo Ackerman, Izzy Ackerman, Ashley Bigleggins, Marquita Bigleggins, Gavin BigLeggins and Wilbert Ackerman; numerous grandchildren; sister, Jewel Fourstar; brothers, Wilbert Ackerman Jr. and Floyd Ackerman; and adopted sister, Neva Spotted Wolf. She was preceded in death by sisters, Florine Ackerman, Cordelia Ackerman and Annette Ackerman; and brothers, Ray Ackerman, Stanley Ackerman and Douglas Runs Through. A memorial service was held Friday, Feb. 21, at the Frazer Community Hall with Tyrus Follet officiating.

Jordan Tate Holum was born in Plentywood on Oct. 13, 1998, to Neil and Tracy Holum. When he was a year old, he was diagnosed with Nocturnal Epilepsy and fought a courageous battle until it took him in his sleep on Feb. 20, 2025. Growing up, he was involved in Boy Scouts, baseball, basketball and was the manager for football through high school. He worked at Tande Grocery as a box boy and shelf stocker. He graduated Scobey High School in 2017. After high school, he attended Montana State University - Northern to become a diesel tech, but learned quickly that wasn’t the route he truly wanted to follow. He moved to Helena for a couple months until he returned to Scobey where he worked at the Lefse Shack and helped his aunt Kari at the farm. In June 2019, he married Keisha Marie Fasthorse and moved to Wolf Point where he worked at Agland West and Agland Hardware until they divorced in September 2022. He moved back home to Scobey and started working for Reeverts Fencing for approximately two years, then worked at Pro Co-Op. His favorite pastimes were hunting, driving around, bowling for fun and on men’s bowling league, working on derby cars, bikes and hanging out with his cousin/neighbor Preston Baldry and being around family. He was a longtime member of the Assembly of God Church, now known as the Cornerstone Church, where he found peace and comfort. He is survived by his parents, Neil and Tracy; brother, Nicholas; sisters, Ashlynn and Makynlee; grandparents, Ralend and Lee Ann Holum. Cremation will take place and a memorial service is planned for a later date and will be announced once determined by the family.

Carol J. Brunelle-Roberts, 81, died Feb. 17, 202, at her home. She was born on May 16, 1943 to William E. Brunelle and Lucille Brunelle Gourneau. She had one child who died soon after birth. Shel worked at the Faith Lutheran Home and the Wolf Point hospital after she graduated from St. Paul High School in South Dakota. She left Wolf Point to go to Texas for nursing school. She married Sheridan Roberts on April 9, 1971, in Oklahoma. They moved to his hometown in West Virgina where they lived till Sheridan’s death. She moved to Wolf Point in 2000 to live with her sister Beverly. She enjoyed cooking and playing the machines. She was a very kind and generous lady. She was preceded in death by sisters, Joan, Violet, Yvonne, Shirley, Rosie and Cheryl; and two brothers, Kenny and Richard Brunelle. She is survived by her sister, Beverly Miranda of Wolf Point. Funeral services are pending at this time under the direction of Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point.
