Selected king and queen for Bainville’s prom on Saturday, April 12, were (left photo) Trevor Robertus and Miah Pippenger. Voted prince and princess were Kaiden Holmes and CoraMay Theige. Roosevelt County commissioners agreed to try selling items online through a local auctioning service during their weekly meeting on Tuesday, April 8. Commissioners voted on a 2-0 decision to have Toavs Premier Auctions handle the duties. Commissioner Robert Toavs, owner of Toavs Premier Auctions, recused himself in the voting. As part of their desire to reduce suicides in the area, Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board members have announced the establishment of a transitional living unit in Poplar to assist juveniles.
