Wolf Point’s Rios Enjoys Music, Writing

Wolf Point High School senior Paige Rios says music was one of her favorite areas while attending the school. She enjoyed being a member of Wolf Point’s swing choir. “I liked everything about it, especially going on trips,” she said about choir. She especially enjoyed performing the Billy Joel song, “As So It Goes.” A hobby for her is writing. Her subjects for her poems

Students, Donkeys Entertain Crowd In Bainville

Area students tried their best to shoot baskets while riding donkeys during an enjoyable fundraising event in Bainville held on Friday, May 2. The Bainville FFA organized the donkey basketball games, which also included Culbertson FFA students and Tumbleweed 4-H Club members. Culbertson Bridge Undergoing Construction

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks recreation staff is excited for the upcoming improvements at Culbertson Bridge Fishing Access Site, located on the Missouri River three miles south of Culbertson. Developments will include five campsites, a new parking area, a second latrine near the camping area (arriving later this summer), and blocking existing vehicle access near the degraded riverbank.

By Bill Vander Weele The amount of funds that Roosevelt County is receiving through increased oil activity slowly keeps growing. For the quarter ending on Dec. 31, 2024, Roosevelt County received a total of $2,029,946 in distributions. Total collections amount to $4.440.924 with the state keeping $2,410,978. Roosevelt County maintains $792,085, which are divided among the county’s departments.
