Wolves Capture Victory In Fairview, 46-43

A strong fourth quarter lifted Wolf Point over Fairview, 46-43, in boys’ basketball action in Fairview on Friday, Dec. 19.

The Wolves gained a 21-16 lead in the first half. Zandon Calder scored eight points for the Wolves in the half.

Fairview battled back to take a 27-26 advantage in the third quarter. The Wolves then stepped up to outscore Fairview, 19-14, in the fourth period to earn the District 2B victory. Calder scored eight points in the final period. Jett Azure added five points.

Calder finished the contest with 16 points. Azure had nine points in the game.

Also scoring were Richard Campbell with five, Stone Lilley with five, Sean Hamilton with four, Da’shaun Jackson with three, Brady Four Bear with two and Andrew Williamson with two.

Top scorers for Fairview were Keegan Skogas with 12 and Brayden Renville with 11 points.
