Cowboys Lose Contest In Savage

The Culbertson Cowboys fell behind early and lost at Savage, 55-28, in District 2C boys’ basketball action on Friday, Dec. 19.

Savage took a 22-6 advantage during the first quarter of play.

The Warriors led 30-14 at the half and 44-18 after the third quarter.

Top scorers for the Cowboys were Ian Snyder with eight and Brooks Solem with seven points.

Also scoring were Cal Steppler with five, Plenny Williams with four, Tyler White Cloud with two and Felixe Becker with two points.

Leading Savage’s attack were Boden Jorgensen with 20 points and Adrian Smelser with 11 points.
