Cowboys Defeat Fusion, 43-36

The Culbertson Cowboys opened their home basketball schedule with a 46-36 win over Richey/Lambert on Saturday, Dec. 20.

Culbertson gained a 13-8 lead in the first quarter and increased its advantage to 2415 at the half.

The Cowboys added 13 points in the third quarter to put the margin at 37-24.

Plenny Williams and Ian Snyder paced the Cowboys with 15 points each. Brooks Solem finished with 12 points.

Also scoring were Cal Steppler with two, Kaden Featherston with two and Cord Snyder with one, The Cowgirls lost against Richey/Lambert by a 50-25 final.

Richey/Lambert led 11-6 in the first quarter and 16-11 at the half.

The Fusion exploded for 21 points in the third quarter for a 37-15 lead.

Emma Berwick led the Cowgirls with 10 points while Ayden Ator added eight points.

Also scoring were Payton Labatte with four and Ivy Colvin with three points.

Leading the Fusion were Brynne Hill with 17 and Tayen Carda with 10 points.
