Git-N-Go Opens Under New Owners
A fresher air atmosphere, off-sale liquor sales and a desire to be a positive part of the community are aspects that new Git-N-Go owners Luke and Madi Gunderson are bringing to the casino on U.S. Highway 2 in Wolf Point.
The first day that the business was opened under the ownership of the couple was Nov. 1. Madi (Unger) is a native of Wolf Point.
“We’re bringing back full off-sale beer,” Luke said. “Now, we’re a full liquor cabinet.”
The smoke-free casino offers free snacks and beer for its gamers.
He added the deli is back and delicious chicken will return this week. The deli’s other items include sandwiches and burritos.
The couple is pleased that many of the casino’s former employees returned to serve customers.
To display their commitment to the community, they will feed homeless individuals once month on the west side of the building. The first event is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 21. The effort is in conjunction with Modern Day Warriors.
The casino’s grand opening is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23, and will include free chili and frybread.
The Gundersons also own the Aces & 8’s Casino in Glasgow. They have managers at both locations.
