Cowgirls Lose To Fusion
After a strong start, the Culbertson Cowgirls lost a conference match against Richey/Lambert on Friday, Oct. 10.
The Cowgirls fell by a 2523, 13-25, 7-25, 24-26, final.
The first set was even at 21-21 when Culbertson struck for two straight points. With the score at 23-22, a kill by Leandra Perkins put the margin at 24-22. The Cowgirls won the set by a 25-23 final.
In the fourth set, the Cowgirls earned a 22-18 advantage. A kill by Catherine Donaldson put Culbertson ahead 24-20.
The Fusion used a pair of aces by Brooke Spinner to tie the score at 24-24. Richey/ Lambert scored the final two points on a tip by Addison Foss and a block by Jolee Klempel.
