Indians Fall Short In Forsyth

Poplar lost to a strong Forsyth team by a 68-22 final in eight-man football action on Friday, Sept. 26.

Poplar Coach Jason Brock said that the Indians learned a lot during the contest.

“It was nice to see the warriors we had fill in where needed due to injuries,” Brock said. “We are an extremely young team with low numbers.”

Scoring touchdowns for the Indians were Donald Iceman, AJ Youngman and Houston Eder.

Quarterback Chasen Pribbernow passed for three touchdowns.

“We as a coaching staff are trying to implement a new culture to Poplar,” Brock said. “I am very proud of the heart our team is building.”

The Indians will travel to Circle on Thursday, Oct. 2.
