Indians Lose Conference Volleyball Matches

The Poplar Indians lost a close volleyball match against Harlem on Friday, Sept. 12. Harlem won by a 2325, 25-20, 25-16, 25-18, final.

Makenzie Crawford led the Indians with 26 kills, two aces, eight blocks and nine digs. Jacey Azure had nine kills and two digs.

Carsyn Fourbear finished with four kills, three aces, 18 assists and a dig. Jayda Falcon added two digs and a kill. Braelyn Nordwick scored a kill.

Frankie Gourneau had two kills, an ace, five blocks and a dig. Channing First had an ace, three kills and eight assists. Toni Brown had a kill, three blocks and three digs. Lilliana O’Neal had three digs.

The Indians fell in Plentywood by a 15-25, 23-25, 1325, final on Saturday, Sept. 13.
