Wolves Open Volleyball Season

Wolf Point’s volleyball team opened its season at a tournament in Shelby and Choteau during the weekend.

During the first round of action, the Wolves defeated Simms, 21-20, 21-19. Firstround losses came against Ennis, Shelby and Manhattan.

The Wolves earned victories over Havre’s JVs, 21-19, 21-18, Cut Bank, 21-18, 21-16, and Lodge Grass, 21-11, 21-10, during second-round action.

In round three, Wolf Point lost against Chinook, Glasgow, Manhattan Christian and Three Forks.

The Wolves will host Scobey on Thursday, Sept. 4, and travel to Harlem on Friday, Sept. 5.
