Carter County High School junior Bella Jensen will appear at the Wild Horse Stampede in her role as Miss Teen Rodeo Montana 2025.

Jensen, the 17-year-old daughter of Ty and Sarina O’Connor of Ekalaka and Chris Jensen of Spearfish, S.D., competed against a field of accomplished young women in a rigorous three-day competition. The pageant, hosted by the newly formed Miss Rodeo Montana Pageant Council, tested contestants in multiple areas, including personal interviews, a written test, horsemanship, speech and modeling.

Jensen, a dedicated student and active community member, balances her academic responsibilities at Carter County High School with her participation in sports, extracurricular activities and ranch work. She plays on the high school volleyball team and is actively involved in FFA and 4-H, where she shows steers, pigs, and sheep. During the summer, when she is not competing in rodeos, she assists on her family’s ranch, running the grain cart during harvest and helping rotate cattle.

Her passion for rodeo is evident in her participation in breakaway roping, barrel racing, pole bending and goat tying. Looking ahead, Jensen plans to pursue a law degree, attending Montana State University and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln before returning to her family ranch to continue her involvement in agriculture and the Western way of life.
