Cannabis Sales Increase In State, County
The amount of cannabis sales continues to grow in the state and in Roosevelt County.
Cannabis sales for the state increased to $27,481,817 for the month of May. The amount includes $24,198,109 for adult use sales and $3,283,708 for medical sales.
The last time that the state figures was above $27 million was in October of 2024 when it reached $27,728,562.
Sales total for the state in April was $26,239,167 after being $26,582,252 in March.
Estimated county sales in Roosevelt County for May totaled $580,425. That figure translates to $18,723 being spent daily in Roosevelt County during the month of May.
Previous estimated monthly figures for Roosevelt County during 2025 included $553,864 in April, $579,820 in March, $522,689 in February and $587,683 in January.
Richland County finished May with an estimated monthly sales figures of $938,785. That figure translates to $30,283 spent daily in that county during the month of May.
Sales for Valley County were $154,494 in May. Sales for Dawson Count were $675,119.
Montana’s counties with the highest figure for sales during May included Yellowstone at $4,685,928, Gallatin at $3,969,369, Missoula at $3,244,679 and Flathead at $2,630,464.
