Area students graduating from the University of Montana during spring semester 2025 include: Culbertson: Julia Lee, bachelor of arts, social work, summa cum laude; Poplar: Darrian Four Bear, bachelor of arts, social work; Wolf Point: Paisley Ferdina, master of arts, counselor education; Dalton Hafner, juris doctor, law; and Dana Hughes, bachelor of arts, social work, magna cum laude.
EmmaRae Martell, a 2024 salutatorian of Poplar High School, has graduated from Dawson Community College with presidential honors 4.0 grade point average. She was only one of four out of the 72 graduates to earn this honor. She plans to continue her education at MSU-Billings this fall.
Macey Stump, a 2021 Poplar High School salutatorian, has graduated from Miles Community college with a 4.0 grade point average. She also completed the basketball season for the Lady Pioneers. She plans on attending Haskell University with the possibly of playing volleyball for its program.
