Brockton Scores Victories Over Fusion

 

The Brockton Warriors won both basketball games against Richey/Lambert during District 2C action on Saturday, Jan. 25.

Brockton’s boys ran to a 5525 victory.

After leading 10-7 at the end of the first quarter, Brockton took a 25-10 halftime advantage.

The Warriors extended the margin to 40-17 in the third quarter.

Leading Brockton’s attack were Jarid Fasthorse Jr. with 15 and Ronnie Blackdog with 14 points.

Also scoring were Colter Nygard with eight, Miles Boxer Jr. with seven, Weston Lambert with three, Tefton Bear with three and Kameron Rattling Thunder with three points.

Top scorers for the Fusion were Curtis Mullin with eight and Beau Mullin with six points.

Brockton’s girls got off to a strong start and downed the Fusion by a 57-40 final.

The Warriors jumped off to a 20-8 lead in the first quarter.

Brockton led 28-21 at the half and 39-34 after three quarters of play.

Brockton put the game away with 18 points in the fourth period.

Tamryn Bauer and Quintana Young each scored 21 points for the Warriors.

Rounding out the scoring were Ava Lone Bear with seven, Marlene Fish with four, Claire Claimpitt with two and Taylor Cummins with two.

Top scorers for the Fusion were Keira Rains with 13, Jolee Klempel with 12 and Brynne Hill with 11 points.

The Warriors will host Plentywood on Friday, Jan. 31, and travel to Frazer on Saturday, Feb. 1.
