The Natural Resources Department on the Fort Peck Reservation is attempting to find out what the community desires in a community agriculture plan. Meetings were conducted in Wolf Point and Poplar to receive input from residents last week. Programs have also taken place in Brockton and Fort Kipp. A meeting is planned for Oct. 29 in Frazer. Runners Earn Honors At Harlem Invitational


Poplar’s girls ran away with team honors from the Harlem Invitational cross country meet on Friday, Oct. 18. The Indians finished with a team score of 20 points. Harlem took second with 24 points and Chinook placed third with 28 points. Shelbi LaBrie of Whitewater was the individual winner with a time of 19:29.7. Poplar’s Journey Gourneau ran to a sixth-place finish at 21:11.1.
